biking it

Disney Land is in the background.

I love my ride before and after work. Other than the current 90+ degree heat. I don't love that.
For training for my trip, and general sanity too, I've been doing 30 miles a day on this route into Tokyo at least a few times a week. I would do it everyday but there is only so much time and energy in a day. and sanity. there's definitely a limit on sanity too.
Unfortunately, the couch is no more. It encouraged too much relaxation, perhaps. Though the path was getting pretty litter strewn there too. It was great when it was populated with highschoolers smoking cigarettes and rebelling.

I love the river bike paths here. So much beauty in this world.

the adventures continue...

Kori, You take such beautiful pictures of everything over there. I've always wanted to visit, I'm really jealous, it looks like so much fun! I haven't been on a bike in years, but I'd love to give that stuff a try. A few months ago I looked at Tokyo on Google Earth, and I can't even imagine what you see on a daily basis. I imagine I could spend hours picking your brain.

Your past two posts have had really excellent night shots. The picture of your bike and Disneyland, the one of the couch, and the greenish photo in the last post with all the bikes are all awesome. The others are awesome, too, but I like those in particular. I'm looking forward to your shots of Tohoku.
